Promotion of Telugu Ghazal  

Dr.Dasaradhi and Dr C Narayana Reddy are the famous poets who introduced Telugu ghazals to the people of Andhra Pradesh in 1970s. Dr Ghazal Srinivas revitalized these ghazals with his melodious singing ability and created history. Thus he is known as the pioneer of Telugu ghazal singing. After 20 years of singing and propagating ghazals among the people, he initiated workshops and seminars for the upcoming Telugu ghazal poets and organized training camps for singers at National level. Today there are at least 125 poets and 80 singers who benefited from his noble endeavors.

GCT supports and contributes to publish the ghazal poetry. In the year 2006 GCT had its official website www.telugughazal.com launched by Dr C.Narayana Reddy. GCT also produces various ghazal albums through Aditya music private limited. GCT has been organizing Ghazal Mushayiras (kavi sammelan) and also an interaction with famous Urdu and Hindi ghazal poets.
